My name is Aliki...No, I am not Hawaiian..the name is Greek..yes, you guessed it right this time, I'm Greek! My last name??? Okay, you asked for it...It's THEOFILOPOULOS!
I am an artiste extraordinare, breathing life into cartoon characters, by creating them, storyboarding them, animating them, and even giving them voices! I got my start at Disney Feature Animation, where I animated for 7 years... Features I have worked on are: Hercules, Mulan, Fantasia 2000, Tarzan, Atlantis, Treasure Planet and Home on the Range. After leaving D-land, I worked for two and a half years at Nickelodeon on "Chalk Zone" and later "Catscratch." I then left to work at Warner Brothers on a show called "Johnny Test", until recently, when I found myself back at Nickelodeon as a creator of my own short called, "Yaki and Yumi" produced by Frederator cartoons. I have also written and illustrated my first children's book titled "Zig-Zag and Dot and the Marvelous Poncho" which features a playful anteater, named Zig-Zag and his friend Dot, who happens to be a platypus. Once I sell the book, my hope is to eventually see the characters come to life in their own preschool show. (I have already developed it as such).
My voiceover experience started by doing scratch recordings on Disney's Home on the Range for Jennifer Tilly (Grace), Rosanne Barr (Maggie), Judy Dench (Mrs. Calloway), and Estelle Harris. I later got a gig on Cartoon Network's "SD GUNDAM FORCE". I was the voice of Dr. Bell Wood, and Zero the Winged Knight Nowadays you can hear me as the voice on the "Bratz" commercials, and if you ride the Las Vegas monorail system, that voice you hear is also mine. Of course I even gave myself a few parts on my show, "Yaki and Yumi" as the voice of the "amazing fortune fish" and the "doofus duo"..also as the "sweet little girl."
I then left to work at Warner Brothers on a show called Johnny
Test, until I found myself back at Nickelodeon as a creator of my own
short called, Yaki and Yumi produced by Frederator cartoons.

Upon completion, I was fortunate enough to sell a second show called Girls
on the GO! also produced by Frederator cartoons, set to air on
Nickelodeon in 2007.

Currently I am developing more cartoons, planning a wedding, and enjoying life in L.A!

aleithea:
the name "aleithea" (my usual screenname) means "truth"
in Greek (had to add the random "i" in there, because someone grabbed
that name on AOL before I did) the word also sounds like a combo of my first
and last name.
It also comes from a saying I heard long ago "alethea, ereno, oeteron"
which means: "truth has a friend in heaven"
It also just sounds cool..ah-llleeee-tthey-aaah!!
Oh, my favorite music? THE SMASHING PUMPKINS!!! After that, some Cocteau
Twins, Bjork, Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Broken Social Scene, Air, Sigur Ros,

Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell... then funk it up with some Prince, Stereolab,
Moby, Luscious Jackson, Beck and old school Rap...then when that's all over,
put The Smashing Pumpkins back on!!!!!!!
